Catalogue
The Israeli Video Art Archive includes over 500 video works by around 70 Israeli and several international artists from the 1970s until the present day. The Archive is located on the top floor of the Tel Aviv Cinemateque (2, Shprinzak) where works can be viewed by individuals or groups by arranging an appointment (see contact info). To submit works to be considered for the archive, artists should send a VHS PAL copy of their work along with a CV, synopsis of the works and contact information.
An on-line digital catalogue is presently under construction and will appear shortly in this site
The digital catalogue is in memory of Elizabeth Sabinski-Ne'eman.

V-Scape
V-Scape is a series of television programs which were created especially for Video-Zone, the First Biennial of Video Art in Israel. It endeavors to provide yet another venue, in addition to the well-known gallery spaces, for artists engaging in the medium of the moving image in an attempt to bring together two very different arenas so as to create an innovative meeting place for current artistic practice. As part of the Biennial, the program was broadcasted in six 30-minute parts addressing different themes.
The participating artists responded to a given list of themes, specified yet open to personal interpretations. Each artist brings his/her unique individual mode of expression into the program, but at the same time relates to a wider context that explores the points of divergence and convergence between the media of television and art. The works selected for the program make original use of the medium, introducing questions about our viewing habits and the conditioning that make us absorb what we see in certain ways.
The participating artists in each chapter include artists, television and cinema practitioners, animators and musicians from Israel and the world over.
V-scape curators are Yael Feldman and Ran Slavin
