About The Work

Julie Bacon's work in BLURRR 3 was an inquiry into the relationship between the artist and her audience, in both their presence and absence. In the first part of the performance, Bacon interacted with the audience, while in the second, two days later, the action was much more self-contained, evoking excerpts from the previous performance rather than involving the audience.
