About The WorkElvira Santamaria's work in BLURRR 3 was one of the most unexpected and striking. For the public waiting around in the Kibbutz dining room, it came as a complete surprise when the artist started pushing around tables - along with chairs and people, if necessary - literally "opening up a space". In the second part of the performance, she sat on top of one of the service trolleys; eating salt, and carrying on a conversation with an imaginary being, she gradually re-discovers her own features behind a glass darkened by a piece of burning wood. About The Artist Born in 1967 in Mexico D.F.; works and lives in Mexico D.F.
