About The WorkRelief from Territory was performed by Hunter out in the fields of Kibbutz Nachshon. It was a process that went on for two hours, twice a day - sunrise and sunset - during three of the festival's four days. Hunter delineated a quadrangular "territory" by means of flags. Each of these became a "station" at which the artist performed a fixed sequence of acts. These repetitive acts orchestrated memory and chance, thus generating different compositional realities.About The ArtistBorn in 1970 in Glasgow, Scotland.Since 1989, has presented performances and performance/installations (installacions); delivered lectures, papers and manifestos publicly; had his original research in the field of cross-art practice published; curated and coordinated projects inter-regionally.
