CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo is pleased to present “We Care, We Talk: Curators in Conversation,” a series of events created in collaboration with WalkTalk, consisting of conversations with leading curators from across the world that will be focused on exposing the mechanism of exhibition-making within the contexts of museums and art institutions.
The fifth event in the series will be with Alison M. Gingeras, an independent curator living and working in New York and Warsaw, in conversation with Tamar Margalit, Curator at CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo. Gingeras is currently an Adjunct Curator at Dallas Contemporary and previously held positions at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, Centre Pompidou in Paris, and Pinault Foundation at Palazzo Grassi in Venice. She curated (with Noa Rosenberg) “My Name is Maryan,” at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The conversation will address Gingeras’s rigorous and anarchistic approach toward art history, an approach that sets apart her exhibitions and writing.
The event will be held in English via Zoom only; to access the meeting, click here.
Duration: 30 minutes, followed by questions from the audience
