Led by artists and CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo Office Manager Guy Bernard Reichmann and Content Manager Mona Benyamin, “out-of-office” is a series of events to be presented in the Marc Schimmel Multipurpose Gallery. Focused on time-based practices such as video, dance, and performance, and in line with the multidisciplinary mission of the Center, “o-o-o” was conceived as a way to nurture the domestic scene.

The concert “Internal Amplification” is the product of a collaboration between the ensemble Musica Nova and the Department of New Music at Musrara. As part of this collaboration, an open-call was issued to submit new works for the ensemble members. The three works that will be presented in the concert are the result of a joint process between the composers and the members of the ensemble. The works presented are Amplified Gestures by Liel Fishbein, which moves in the tension between space and electricity; Pistons by Yuval Yitzhaki, which looks at the process of breathing through the mechanics of music instruments; and OXIDENTALISM by Ido Zohar, which explores the tension between the individual and the collective.

“Internal Amplification” is performed by Tom Klein (cello), Orr Sinay (contrabass), Adi Snir (brass), Yifeat Ziv (Vocals), and Ma'ayan Tsadka (objects and woodwinds).
