Initiated and led by CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo’s Office Manager Guy Bernard Reichmann, “out-of-office” is a series of events presented in the Marc Schimmel Multipurpose Gallery. Focused on time-based practices such as video, dance, sound, and performance, and in line with the multidisciplinary mission of the Center, “o-o-o” was conceived to nurture the scene during the dramatic time of the pandemic and its aftermath. The tenth iteration of the program is an evening by Ensemble Musica Nova featuring the Brooklyn-based cellist Tyler J. Borden whose practice encompasses free improvisation, just intonation application, and the interpretation of complex scores. The evening will be comprised of the piece Bob Hope Airport Train Station (2021) by Borden and a free improvisation set and performed by Borden (cello), Orr Sinay (double bass), Adi Snir (winds), Maayan Tsadka (objects), and Yifeat Ziv (voice).
