Entitled “Into the Rhythm: from Score to Contact Zone,” this presentation will focus on the eponymous project that just recently closed at ARKO Art Center in Seoul as a collaboration with OnCurating. Through a crossover of exhibition, performances, talks, sounds and interventions dealing with everyday life and art, feminism, and sustainability concerns around food, this project generated an inviting atmosphere in which visitors became participants and active players. Through this presentation, Prof. Dr. Dorothee Richter – Head of PhD in Practice in Curating at the University of Reading (United Kingdom), Director of OnCurating Academy in Berlin and Editor in Chief of OnCurating Publishing and Project Space in Zurich – will share her experience with the audience. Furthermore, her presentation will stress how in times of great conflicts, it is necessary to take difference and togetherness seriously, which means that there is a common space in which the rules of the game can be negotiated.
The event will be held in English and in collaboration with Goethe Institut Israel. Special thanks to Maayan Sheleff and Hadas Kedar.
