The upcoming Saturday Lab for children will be inspired by “Spectacular Failure״, the annual group exhibition at CCA Tel Aviv–Yafo. In the first part of the workshop, we will visit the exhibition and explore the works on view, all of which deal with failure in a variety of forms. Together, we will ask: what role does failure play in the artistic process? Why do the participating artists choose to focus on the perspective of the “loser״ rather than the “winner״? In the second part of the workshop, we will engage in a hands-on activity inspired by the themes of the exhibition. During this session, the children will create their own “blooper” videos using stop-motion animation techniques.

Saturday Kids Lab is led by Eden Bannet, CCA Tel Aviv–Yafo’s Educational Manager, and is designed for children aged 6 to 10. Participation is limited.

Duration: 90 minutes
