Cezary Bodzianovski: Sababa

A special project, of this enigmatic artist from Poland, Cezary Bodzianowski which was produced especially for the Center for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv. On his previous visit to Israel (October 2008), Bodzianowski traveled along the country and made 6 short video films documenting various actions he did in different locations. In the exhibition the films will be shown as a video installation on six screens. The exhibition is accompanied by an artist book which includes a letter sent to him by Sebastian Cichocki (curator at MoMA/MSN in Warsaw) describing his difficulties to write an article about Bodzianowski’s work.

The exhibition was co-organized in collaboration with Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Warsaw, and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland as part of the Polish Year in Israel 2008-2009
