Avi Mograbi–  From Film to Video Art and back

Avi Mograbi`s works are shot in the context of film making, Even though many of the films are presented in galleries. In his lecture Mograbi will shed a light on the process.

Avi Mograbi is a director and a video artist. Among his films; Z32 (2008), Mrs.Goldstein (2006), August (2002), Happy Birthday Mr.Mograbi (1999), and many more.

Miri Segal -Future Perfect

Miri Segal will discuss her last work “Future Perfect” which she made in collaboration with Or Even Tov, and was presented in The Dvir Gallery.

Miri Segal is a media artist, her works were exhibited in New York, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv. Her movie BRB (2007) was screened in many venues world wide, among them the Tate Modern in London, Centre Pompidou Paris, and The Chelsea Art Museum.

Yair Garbuz– The Jewish ‘Soul’

The lecture will deal with his latest works, and Garbuz will discuss the relations between painting and text in his art works.

Garbuz is an acclaimed and important artist, art teacher and writer. Since the 1960s, His works were exhibited in various important exhibitions both in Israel and around the world.

Uri Drumer – What do the grains murmur?

The lecture will mainly focus on the different aspects of the sound as media, material, or as a thinking device. Drumer will discuss the large variety of his works in the past few years. In his works he explores the relations between sound and space. This body of works continues his research in the concept of memory and identity in Judaism.

Uri Drumer is an interdisciplinary artist and musician. He exhibited his works in many galleries, wrote music for dance shows, and curated several exhibitions.
