Saturday Lab Kids Workshop – On Archeology in Contemporary Art

Saturday, December 9, 11 am Inspired by “Looters”, Michal Baror’s new exhibition at the CCA Tel Aviv, the next Saturdays Lab Kids Workshop will deal with archeology in contemporary art. During the workshops we will visit the exhibition and ask questions about the connection between archeology, theft, photography and art. Afterwards, we will move to the Shelter for Contemporary Art, and we will familiarize with other works of art which main theme is archeology. From there we will continue with practical activities in the shelter; we will become a research team at a miniature archaeological site excavated by spoons, in which we will discover mysterious remains that will serve as a source of inspiration for writing and painting imaginary stories
