Please join us for a tour of our current exhibition “Maxime Rossi: Orchidaceous Extras,” led by CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo Curator Tamar Margalit. The tour will start with an introduction of the artist’s practice and the curatorial premises of the project, whose core element is a “perpetual play” that takes as its reference point the “imaginary orchid” that Vladimir Nabokov sketched in pencil in 1969 for the cover of his then-latest novel, Ada. In the tour of the exhibition – which is Rossi’s first solo presentation in Israel – attendees will have the opportunity to experience a tailored introspective experience through virtual reality and will be given the chance to engage directly with the main exhibition space, which has been transformed into a participatory UV light squash club.
