Please join us for an exhibition walkthrough of “Spectacular Failure,” CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo’s annual group exhibition. Led by Masa Omar, Content Manager at the Center, this event is a unique opportunity to learn about the curatorial premise of the exhibition, which highlights the generative role that failure – in its various forms and manifestations – has played in Israeli art of over the past fifty years. Throughout the tour, Masa will explore related themes and strategies that the exhibiting artists engage such as dark humor and self humor, the anti-heroic, and an aesthetic marked by the makeshift and the provisional.
