Led by artist and CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo Office Manager Guy Bernard Reichmann, alongside artists and Content Managers Mona Benyamin and Esraa Abed, “out-of-office” is a series of events to be presented in the Marc Schimmel Multipurpose Gallery. Focused on time-based practices such as video, dance, and performance, and in line with the multidisciplinary mission of the Center, “o-o-o” was conceived as a way to nurture the domestic scene.
A joint creation by members of Musica Nova, Ways of Listening is a deep dive into the intricacies of sonic entities. By using audio technologies and combining external amplification, acoustic instruments, wireless headphones and noise-canceling headphones, the participating audience will be able to experience phenomena of sound in various ways, while experiencing the complex relationship between sensory perceptions in our human existence. This performance is a laboratory in which the limits of sound phenomena are tested, ranging between the most intimate sonorities to those inducing active vibration onto their environment. Sounds in this environment are to be experienced by us sensory beings – through our ears, body, eyes and from inside our head.
Ways of Listening is performed by Ma'ayan Tsadka, Orr Sinay, Yifeat Ziv and Adi Snir; the performance has a limited capacity of 20 participants for each run.
Duration: 50 min
The event is free of charge
Number of participants is limited, to register please send an email to CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo Office Manager, Guy Bernard Reichmann at firstname.lastname@example.org.
