Titled Superstardom, this event, which takes place as a site-specific project inspired by CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo’s video and performance archive, examines performance as an independent medium and as a platform that merges with diverse artistic languages. It is an experimental space where body, sound, and material become tools of living research — opening up questions rather than answering them.
During the evening, a collaborative performance will be presented, dealing with tensions between repression and eruption, exposure and concealment, minimalism and expressionism, and the dynamics between subject and object. The work explores the boundaries of freedom — not as a closed concept, but as an open field for emotional and intellectual inquiry. Through the friction between the visible and the invisible, between body and fabric, and between fabric and sound, a new language emerges — not always verbal, sometimes a scream, sometimes a hum.
It is a reflection on the body as a beating archive, carrying personal and political memory, and asking what happens when it surrenders to material, to sound, and to space.
