Inspired by “Melodies of Certain Damages (Opus 3),” Naama Tsabar’s current exhibition at the Center, the upcoming Saturday Kids Lab will deal with sculpture and contemporary installation combining sound and music along with acts of destruction and decomposition. First, we will visit the artist’s experiential exhibition, which created a participatory floor installation made up of shattered guitars. The children will participate in the installation, play, investigate and perform the work which we will video document. We will continue with hands-on activities at our Educational Hub, where we will discover artworks by other artists who create sculpture that combines music, sound, and destruction. Finally, we will move on to the concluding activity in the “Invention Lab,” where the children will produce collages, drawings and paintings of their own imaginary machines and sound installations.

The Saturday Kids Lab is led by CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo Educational Manager Eden Bannet for children between 6 and 10-year old.
