Led by artists and CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo Office Manager Amy Sapan and Content Manager Mona Benyamin, “out-of-office” is a series of events to be presented in the Marc Schimmel Multipurpose Gallery. Focused on time-based practices such as video, dance, and performance, and in line with the multidisciplinary mission of the Center, “o-o-o” was conceived as a way to nurture the domestic scene.

In this special evening, Mines (Yael Barolsky, Ram Gabay, and Ilan Volkov) are joined by Haggai Fershtman and David Israel Katz for two musical sets that challenge musical conventions. By stretching their instruments (violin, drums) beyond conventional playing practices, Mines trio create soundscapes in which bird noises, creaky doors, or vacuum cleaner hums blend in one living ecosystem; whereas Fershtman and Katz play freely with drum set, voice and movement, extending their expressive palettes and allowing new sound vocabulary to emerge in real-time.

Doors open at 6:45pm and close at 7:00pm. No late entries.
