Please join us for an artist talk by Enrique Ramírez, whose solo exhibition “What Will We Do…” is currently on view at CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo. During the talk, Ramírez will focus on the displays and ‘compositions’ on four recent solo exhibitions: “Un hombre que camina” (2018) at Museo de artes visuals in Santiago de Chile; “Jardins Migratoires” (2021) at École nationale supérieure de la photographie in Arles (France); “People are Places” (2021) at Galerie de l’UQAM in Montréal; “Jusque-là” (2022) at Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains in Tourcoing (France), co-produced with Pinault Collection. Through views of these exhibitions, Ramírez will present his practice, which is conceptually rooted in the encounter between the political and the poetic, and carried via media such as video, video installation, film, photography, installation, sculpture, and readymade objects.

The event will be held in English and is supported by Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem, and Outset Contemporary Art Fund.
