On the occasion of “Orchidaceous Extras,” his first solo exhibition in Israel, Maxime Rossi will present his artistic journey through pivotal moments spread over the last decade. Accompanied by images from projects presented in institutions such as the Musée départemental d’art contemporain de Rochechouart, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and KANAL — Centre Pompidou in Brussels, the talk will shed light on the artist’s desire to turn situations upside down in order to inject irony into logic and control, dynamically subverting what appears as relentless. In the last part of his talk, he will delve into his latest project, a multifaceted total installation commissioned by CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo and co-produced with CNAP.
