On the occasion of “Panoramas,” his first institutional solo exhibition in Tel Aviv-Yafo since 2002, Pavel Wolberg will present his artistic path through pivotal moments spread over the last twenty years. Accompanied by images from different series shot in different places and different formats, the talk will shed light on Wolberg’s fascination for remote and dangerous sites, his use of the camera as a tool to capture reality and how is practice is situated in a gray area between visual art, photography and photojournalism. In the last part of his talk, he will delve into his latest body of work shot during Covid-19 and triggered by the impossibility of traveling abroad.
