After years of working with experimental composition, Daniella Ljungsberg has recently turned her focus to songwriting, where emotion, daydreaming, and the connection to memories, real or imagined, become material for creation.

In her new album, she combines ancient instruments and electronics within contemporary pop-like compositions, alongside sonic worlds that include granular analog synths, field recordings, random acoustic instruments, and unique vocal treatments. Ljungsberg will present these for the first time in a live band performance with Avraham Kober and Amit Dagim, featuring songs from I Do Care and new material from her upcoming album, scheduled for release in spring 2026.

The performance is accompanied by an installation by Daniel Aviad and Iliya Ben-Mayor, in which beams of light reveal cave paintings.

The performance is presented as part of Double Booking, a series of time-based events curated by Shahar Mizrahi and Yoel Peled. As part of the series, artists are invited to share a stage and work side by side, or one after the other, in an exploration of the encounter point and the possibilities that emerge from the pairing.
