Please join artist Rona Yefman and the Center’s curator Tamar Margalit for a tour of Yefman’s solo exhibition “Radio Netiva,” preceding its opening, which will start at 12:00pm. In the tour, the artist will reflect on what initially drew her to Netiva Ben Yehuda, the towering figure at the heart of the exhibition, and ultimately spend countless hours documenting her over the span of five years. Yefman and Margalit will then discuss the unique format of the exhibition, which is an expansive and multi-layered portrait both of Netiva and of her cult radio program. The exhibition, which includes a newly-commissioned body of work encompassing installation, sound, photography and video, marks Yefman’s first institutional solo presentation in her home country.
