Please join Nicola Trezzi, the Center’s Director and Curator, for a tour of our current exhibition “Sharif Waked: Balagan.” During the tour Trezzi, curator of the exhibition will introduce the set of ideas that guided his dialogue with the artist, a dialogue that resulted in the selection of a specific group of works. This selection – which includes series such as “Arabesque,” “dot.txt,” “Tughra,” and “Just a Moment” – features pieces that have been “conceived” (a term that in this context becomes more appropriate than “created”) by Waked over the last nine years.
