In a world at an extreme state, everything becomes relative, a “matter of dose.” In a state of energy overdose, touching might be venomous and yet tempting. While looking at this world, we realize that what is visible are actually the things that disappear, appear and disappear again and humans are one of these ‘things’. Once we understand that everything is an illusion, and consists mostly of the intricacies of our consciousness, the rules of the games change. Following these premises and after two and a half years of research, diving into the depths of movement and consciousness, deciphering emotions and physical work, Irad Avni will present his new experiment, which he defines as “an experimental womb, disposable, with one truth and no mistakes.” Irad Avni’s K for Humanity: experimental womb is performed by Meitar Arieli, Eva Wolf, Michal Solberg, Inbar Tanzer, Ninwe Moshe Nano, and Eden Kramer; directed by Avni and assisted by Nivi Margolin; produced by Sagit Bondy with costumes designed by Matan Anchisi and Rossello Shmaria as artistic advisor; original music and sound designed by Rotem Wiener Tchaikovsky; graphics designed by Aya lavi, still photography by Alon Talmor and video by Alon Valency.
K for Humanity: experimental womb is supported by Mifal HaPais Council for the Culture and Arts; special thanks to Fresco Dance Company and Yoram Karmi.
