Led by artist and CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo Office Manager Guy Bernard Reichmann, alongside artists and Content Managers Mona Benyamin and Esraa Abed, “out-of-office” is a series of events to be presented in the Marc Schimmel Multipurpose Gallery. Focused on time-based practices such as video, dance, and performance, and in line with the multidisciplinary mission of the Center, “o-o-o” was conceived as a way to nurture the domestic scene.

The performance by Merkava – an electro-folk-noise-storytelling duo by Leila Rose (vocal and texts) and Nimrod Alexander Gershoni (audiovisual synthesis) – is the first session of “Ten of Sticks,” the closing event of the second season of “o-o-o.” The duo has been active for the past year and formulates a musical language with the intention of taking the listener on a surreal and expressive journey without a linear narrative. In this show, the duo performs within Gershoni’s installation Synthetic Passage (2018-ongoing).
