Led by artists and CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo Office Manager Guy Bernard Reichmann and Content Manager Mona Benyamin, “out-of-office” is a series of events to be presented in the Marc Schimmel Multipurpose Gallery. Focused on time-based practices such as video, dance, and performance, and in line with the multidisciplinary mission of the Center, “o-o-o” was conceived as a way to nurture the domestic scene.

Uri Duvdevani’s Pompeii is a live audio-visual piece combining movement, text, and sound. In Pompeii, Duvdevani takes us on a personal journey through different historical and mythical events, the most prominent one being the story of Pompeii – the Roman city destroyed in 79 AD following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Presented as a tale of a city frozen in time, Pompeii is performed on this occasion as a work in progress and it will be later on developed into a full-length show.

Pompeii is created and performed by Uri Duvdevani; original score and sound design by Yarden Levi-Ellentuck; lighting design by Yoel Peled; costume design by Arava Assaf and Bar Alon; dramaturgy by Mica Kupfer; artistic advising by Guy Bernard Reichmann; special thanks to Oded Komemi, Omer Sheizaf, and Yan Bolotov.
