Exhibition Tour & Workshop for Children (Ages 6–10)

This edition of Saturday Lab is inspired by the exhibition by Nardeen Srouji.

We will begin with a guided tour of the exhibition, where we will encounter the artist’s impressive  site-specific installation, which recreates the façade of the CCA building within the exhibition space. We will then continue upstairs to view embroidered works on perforated metal, inspired by traditional Palestinian embroidery patterns.

We will continue to the workshop were each participants will be able  transform a drawing into an embroidery pattern and  experiment with cross-stitch on perforated surfaces. At the end of the session, each participant will receive a kit to continue working at home.
