The upcoming Saturday Kids Lab will focus on the exhibition “Etti Abergel: Memoir” currently on view at CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo. In the first part of the workshop, we will visit the exhibition, explore and experience the sculptural environment, which includes works of art that were created in the artist’s studio and integrated by her into the exhibition space in a prolonged creative process. We will observe the artist’s use of ready-made objects that are related to her personal memories, and how she combines them with mundane materials, creating new connections and meanings. Following this exploration, we will do a hands-on activity inspired by the exhibition’s themes, during which the kids will create hybrid sculptures from everyday objects along with materials such as plaster bandages, threads and more.

The Saturday Kids Lab is led by CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo’s Educational Manager Eden Bannet for children ages 6 to 10. The number of participants is limited.
