Guided Tour and Workshop for Children

The upcoming Saturday Kids’ Lab is inspired by the exhibition Amir Yatziv: A Report. We’ll start with a visit to the exhibition, where a video installation follows a single character through a real-time simulation that constantly updates and changes. There, we’ll meet Peter — an ape-turned-human, based on a short story by Franz Kafka — who has come to life as a virtual character powered by A.I. We’ll also have the chance to talk with Peter ourselves through a live phone conversation. In the second part of the workshop, we’ll create our own short stop-motion videos inspired by the exhibition.

Before the workshop, please download the free app Stop Motion Studio to your mobile phone. Download links (Android / iOS)

Duration: 90 minutes

Admission: 45 NIS per child | Free entry for accompanying adult
(30 NIS for DigiTel holders)

Saturday Labs take place throughout the exhibitions at the CCA and are led by artist Eden Bannet.  The activity includes a guided tour of the exhibitions and a hands-on workshop in small groups, encouraging discussion, independent thinking, creative research and hands on activity.
