Though his career spanned only seven years before his untimely death three decades ago, Absalon’s oeuvre continues to exert a profound influence on contemporary artists. In the framework of the exhibition “Absalon: Solutions and Problems,” we asked artists and curators to talk about a particular work of his that resonates with their artistic perceptions. Through these gathered insights we offer a contemplation on Absalon’s legacy and the ways in which it persists in today’s creative discourse.

Among the participants: Ben Alon, Meital Aviram, Hila Cohen-Schneiderman, Yaniv Drey, Eran Eizenhamer, Kineret Haya Max, Lee Nevo and Avi Sabah.
