CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo is proud to announce that in conjunction with the upcoming solo exhibition of Adam Rabinowitz to be presented from August 7 to October 4, 2025, the Center will organize a series of educational activities supported by the Rywkind Ben Zour Grant for Art, Education and Community.
The activities consist of a masterclass and a series of workshops and it is open to all students and graduates from all the art schools in Israel. More information about the activities are here below and those who would like to apply are required to send the application form downloadable HERE to info@cca.org.il no later than June 20. Presence is mandatory and full commitment is required from the participants.
Masterclass
The masterclass will take place at CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo from July 31 to August 6, for an average of six hours per day, and possibly preceded by a few meetings with the artist. During this time the students who will be selected will serve as “collaborators” and will participate in the making of the exhibition, working alongside the artist and the curator. Through this scenario, they will gain an understanding of the real-time dynamics between the artist and the curator and how things evolve in practice.
By participating, they will also be able to experience working with different materials, such as architectural elements, painted glass, mirrors, lighting, and sound. Through this masterclass, the collaborators will be involved with the exhibition from its early stages and will be part of its development, from an empty space to a finished installation. Each participant to the masterclass will receive a fee of 2000₪.
Collaborators will be credited in all exhibition- and Grant-related materials, on CCA. website and social media platforms for their participation in the masterclass. They may also indicate in their CVs that they took part in the exhibition as collaborators within the framework of the Grant.
Workshop in collaboration with Har-El Printers and Publishers
This series of workshops will be focused on the making of a new body of work, a series of prints featuring images recurring in Rabinowitz’s work, to be produced in collaboration with Har-El Printers and Publishers at their facility, located in 8 Elizabeth Bergner St., Tel Aviv-Yafo. The dates of the workshop will be Tuesday July 8, Wednesday July 9, Tuesday July 15 and Wednesday July 16, always from 10:00am to 4:00pm. This is a practical workshop in which a small group of students will learn not only about printing processes but also how to work within a professional environment in which technical skills and thinking processes go hand in hand.
