Saturday Lab Kids Workshop: Soft Sculpture

Saturday, June 22 at 10:30 am

Inspired by “Noa Glazer: Level Loophole,” the upcoming session of Saturday Lab Kids will focus on modern and contemporary sculpture made with soft materials. First, we will visit the exhibition that features soft sculptures made of materials such as felt and cotton, materials created and ‘processed’ by the artist in different ways. The kids will explore the works included in the exhibition and try to decode their origins and sources of inspiration. Then we will move to the Shelter for Contemporary Art, where we will view artworks by other artists who have worked with soft materials through the mediums of sculpture and installation. And finally, the kids will use recycled fabric and clothes in order to create their own soft artworks.

Led by: Eden Bannet Ages: 6-10 Duration: 1 hour and a half Tickets: NIS 40 per child, NIS 32 for digital card holders Tickets required
