where the Worm Also Sings – a Gathering of Gratitude For Pauline Oliveros. Pauline Oliveros (1932-2016) was a composer, accordion player and a pioneer in setting attention towards Deep Listening as the center of her musical endeavor. In celebration of her life and 30 days after her death we decided to meet, listen and perform some of her pieces. Her text scores investigate and deepen layers of listening. some of them will be performed by a special ensemble gathered for this purpose. Some will be performed by all that are present. The event is open for the public and admission is free, it is meant for anyone wanting to tune with Oliveros’s work.

please contact us if you have any questions or would like to join the ensemble.fayeshapiro@gmail.com, avneramit@gmail.com
